Xavi Hernandez - Creator of Goals
Another fantastic season for the world's best playmaker, with 16 assists to date and many more goals created from deep. Not quite at the same level as his last season (29 direct assists!) but when you set the bar so high it's difficult to replicate.
Since Euro 2008 he has been unquestionably the world's leading playmaker, and he is fast-becoming one of the greatest midfield generals of all time. Unparalleled in his passing game + decision-making, he is a striker's dream.

Eric Cantona 1992/1993
Eric Cantona's move to Manchester United halfway through the 1992/93 season helped inspire them to their first league title in 26 years. Cantona was one of the 3 great technical players of the Premier League in the 90s (alongside Zola and Bergkamp), leading Man Utd to unprecedented domestic success in his time at the club.
