yesterday my friend, who is a liverpool friend asked me, what is the difference between the two midfield giants, Frank lampard and steven gerrard?
I told him that both players are execptionally good, they are really like complete midfielders who attack and defend. they also have the right attitudes like not giving up and their work rate.
i feel that lampard is more consistent than gerrard. he scores more , assist more, creates more chances. he performes well almost every season. gerrard loses to lamps in terms of attaking and being consistent, but lampard can't carry and win matches the way gerrard does. gerrard is more influential. gerrard is full of pace but lampard is full of strength. one more thing i note is that lampard passes are more dangerous , sometimes. as his passes can really wreck havoc, either by crossing it to the wing or his most famous direct pass. gerrard can do it too. but not as often as frank lampard.gerrard shoots the ball better than lampsby a bit.
if we look at statistics, then lampard is better but a team definitely need somine like gerrard who can lift the team up. Please reply and give tour opinions on what is the difference and who is better. thanks
